Potassium cocoyl glycinate(KH PCY-12)- UCHEM

一、Product Description

Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate and Potassium Cocoate Solution is an amino acid-based anionic surfactant. This unique amino acid-based surfactant is derived from natural fatty acids and glycine (one of the 28 essential amino acids in the human body). Through a Schotten-Baumann condensation reaction, the product is neutral to slightly alkaline, making it suitable for a wide range of formulations. It is resistant to hard water and produces a luxurious, smooth lather that will leave your hair and skin feeling clean and refreshed.

六、Product performance testing

1.Excellent Foaming Performance:

This gentle surfactant creates a smooth and dense foam, leaving your skin and hair feeling silky soft. It gently cleanses without stripping your skin or hair of its natural oils, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate is perfect for use in facial cleansers, shampoos, and body washes.

2. Compared to other common anionic surfactants

Coconut Oil Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate stands out for its excellent foaming properties compared to other anionic surfactants, providing the right amount of lather for your face wash, shampoo and body wash products.

3. Fatty acid salts on Potassium cocoyl glycinate surface-active foam and low temperature stability

Test conditions: potassium cocoyl glycinate solution, temperature: 40°C, active substance 1%, instrument: Roche foam meter

Test conditions: potassium cocoyl glycinate solution, active substance 30%, temperature: 0℃~5℃, time: 7 days

Through rigorous testing conditions using a 1% solution of Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate at 40°C with a Roatronic Foam Tester, we have observed that as the concentration of fatty acid salts increases, the foam height initially decreases before eventually increasing. This indicates that our product not only enhances foam production but also maintains stability even under varying conditions.

Furthermore, in a separate test using a 30% solution of Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 5°C over a period of 7 days, we found that the presence of fatty acid salts had minimal impact on both foam and cold stability. This demonstrates the reliability and consistency of our product even in challenging environments.
